Wednesday 29th of November is Joensuu -day and city of Joensuu wants to thank and award people of Joensuu who has contributed to the community in different ways.
One of the award is The Joensuu for All -award. The Joensuu for All -award is intended to thank and highlight a person or community, who has been contributed newcomers to settle in Joensuu and helped them to integrate and feel like home here. The awarded has been a good friend, friendly neighbour and provided help and support when needed. By friendly actions the awarded has helped to start a new life in a new hometown and makes Joensuu a better place for all. By these actions, it is easier to breathe in Joensuu.
You can tell your nominee by Tuesday 31st of October here. The form is in Finnish and in English.
The awarded will be announced during the Joensuu -day 29.11.2023. Winner will be selected by a group of different operators of city of Joensuu.
