The City of Joensuu coordinates the Joensuu Regional Centre of Integration Work project, implemented in multilateral cooperation.
The aim of the project is to develop a regional centre of information, consulting and guidance services to offer equal services to immigrants living in our region.

The project aims to increase cooperation between municipalities and organisations while supporting the inclusion and agency of immigrants.
The project operates in line with the operating model for experimental development with the goal of developing tools to support customer service work and promote expertise in integration work.

Our services for Ilomantsi, Outokumpu, Liperi, Kontiolahti and Kitee

We offer services to the employees of the municipalities involved in the cooperation as well as the immigrant residents of the municipalities. You can contact us by phone or email. We offer customer service by appointment. Our office is located in the Joensuu immigration services in the centre of Joensuu. We provide services in Finnish and English. For other languages, we use interpreting services if possible. Our services are free of charge.
